Read & Publish agreement with the IISER Consortium
Following the success of our 2023 Read & Publish Open Access (OA) agreement with the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER), we are delighted that we have signed a renewal agreement for 2024.
All four institutions that were participating in the 2023 agreement have chosen to renew, and two further institutions (IISER Bhopal and IISER Thiruvananthapuram), have joined the agreement which runs from 1 January 2024 – 31 December 2024.
Researchers at participating institutions benefit from publishing:
- Open Access research articles in our hybrid journals, Development, Journal of Cell Science and Journal of Experimental Biology, and our two fully Open Access journals – Disease Models & Mechanisms and Biology Open – without paying an article processing charge (APC).
- Unlimited access to all three hybrid journals including the full archive dating back to 1853.

- Indian Institute of Science Education and Research – IISER Kolkata
- Indian Institute of Science Education and Research – IISER Mohali
- Indian Institute of Science Education and Research – IISER Pune
- Indian Institute of Science Education and Research – IISER Thiruvananthapuram
- Indian Institute of Science Education and Research – IISER Tirupati
